7th December 2021 Wing Boarding: Llanfairfechan Wind Direction: W Wind Stength: F5 Surf / Sea State: Chop Air Temperature: 7 Sea Temperature: 10 Weather: Sun then cloud Max Speed: Distance Covered: After 2 weeks off with yet another cold followed by booster reaction had a bit of trepidation about how cold it would be, but wrapped up so OK. Very high tide so reflections off the wall made usually choppy direction worse. Nevertheless good experience in difficult conditions. Got a few rides and tried gybes but nowhere near getting round, but you got to start somewhere. Just as I get up front gets knocked downwind, guess as board lighter, John suggested starting off downwind as then chop doesn't knock me. Wind got too strong so packed up just before the hail came. |
